Monday was a travel day from Kampala to Soroti. Went through Jinja and stopped at the source of the Nile River. It's the spot where Ghandi's ashes were thrown into the river as he requested upon his death.
Stopped in Mbale for refreshment, and met Florence, the mother of Timothy, one of the children that St. Andrews sponsors.
No internet connection- blogging done via the Blackberry. Sorry no pics. More to come once we find an internet spot.
Tuesday we'll meet with the Habitat folks and visit 2 wells.
